Eating Disorders
Eating disorders are serious conditions related to persistent eating behaviors including various psychological conditions that cause unhealthy patterns to develop. Those who are affected by an eating disorder usually have an obsession around food, body shape, or weight. The most common eating disorders are anorexia nervosa, bulimia nervosa, and binge-eating disorder. Eating disorders can have serious health consequences if left untreated.
Symptoms
Below is a list of possible symptoms of eating disorders. Everyone’s experience with eating disorders are different and may experience some or all of these symptoms. Conversely, we may experience some of these symptoms at one time or another, and it does not necessarily mean we have an eating disorder.
