Personal Experience & Biography

You try to hold it all together, because well…”it’s life”. Something tells you that you should be able to handle this 100% of the time because others have it way worse than you, right? You put so much precious effort into your life. You don’t want a therapist to tell you to “stop worrying”. I get it!

Do you want to make a change, but maybe don’t know where to start? You want to feel at ease in your skin. To live fully in the present moment, to enjoy family, friends, your partner, and yourself. Not like this. You want someone who is easy to talk to, fosters a space for comfort and is easily accessible. Whether you are new to therapy or feel the need to return, you’ve taken an important step towards what you are seeking.

As a modern psychotherapist, I get you where you want to go by leveraging a culturally sensitive and collaborative relationship with my clients. I practice fully from the notion of meeting individuals where they are at, and not utilizing a one-size-fits all approach. I draw on Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Mindfulness, and additional interventions such as Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Emotion-Focused Therapy (EFT), Internal Family Systems (IFS) and Narrative Therapy to help foster insight and change into the lives of the those I work with. With a warm approach and sprinkle of humor, I work side by side with you towards living a meaningful, sustainable, and productive life.

Outside of the therapy room, I love balancing personal passions with myself and my partner. I enjoy discovering new music, running, meditating, visiting new Houston spots, and collecting more fuzzy socks than I should.
