Therapy for Depression
Depression
Depression manifests differently, but is often described as sadness, an inability to feel pleasure, and lack of motivation or energy. There are different forms of depression, such as Major Depressive Disorder and Seasonal Affective Disorder, which is based on seasonal changes.
We believe that it is very important for clients to be able to build awareness and understand the basis for their depression, knowing it is equally as important to provide symptom relief as quickly as possible. Depression therapy can help you access your full range of emotions, find meaning and restore motivation.
Below is a list of possible symptoms of depression. Everyone experiences depression differently and may experience some or all of these symptoms. Conversely, we may experience some of these symptoms at one time or another, and it does not necessarily mean we have depression.
